Located on the Indian River part of the famed inland waterway, Fay Martin River Resort was started in 1922 by Mr. and Mrs. Martin and ran as a resort until 1999 when Mrs. Martin passed away at the age of 104. As new owners we have tried to preserve the history of this resort, one of the oldest in Indian River, as well as making new memories. Fay Martin River Resort is located right on the Indian River between Burt and Mullett Lakes.

Totally renovated and winterized, the resort sits on 2 ½ acres of landscaped lawn, fronting one side of Michigan's famous Inland Waterway, on the Indian River. We are located near some of Michigan’s best groomed snowmobile and cross country ski trails, as well as golfing, the famous Cross In The Woods, and other activities in and around the Indian River area. Nearby Burt Lake and Mullett Lake offer some of the best fishing to be found.

The six cabins are newly renovated and each is equipped with a kitchen, gas fireplace, and TV. From a cozy one-bedroom cabin to the 2-story cabin with 10 beds that sleeps up to 14 people, we're sure you'll find just the right spot for your next Northern Michigan vacation. Take a moment to view some interior photos of our cabins as well as a 360° Virtual Tour of one of our 2-bedroom cabins.

Please contact us if you have any questions about Fay Martin River Resort lodging or to make reservations.
